The Enthusiast Hotel Collection is a group of small, remote hotels and resorts that emphasize building community, connection with local cultures and natural phenomenon, and outdoor adventures. I was approached by them in the start of their venture to help create a unifying brand voice across their different properties, as well as an effective marketing strategy to draw in new customers and corporate partnerships.

Each property in the collection is unique and charming in its own way, and the collection as a whole covers a breadth of architectural styles, types of vacation accommodations, and geographic locations. Without losing any property's individual identity, we created a charming and nostalgic brand voice that is reminiscent of summer camp, scouts, and treasure hunts.
Incorporating stamps, treasure maps, sketch-like drawings of each property and more, we retained a down to earth and approachable feel for the brand that still elevated the travel experience from singular opportunities to collectible and buildable adventures, encouraging customer loyalty and transference from property to property.

Final Result
The light-hearted and nostalgic branding and marketing made the travel experience feel approachable and easy rather than daunting or stressful. Adding creative touches like collecting unique stamps from each property like a treasure hunt encouraged travelers to go to all the properties together, and the extensive redesign of each hotel's website meant that there was still a sense of continuity while still retaining individuality.
