Bluepillow is a travel accommodation search engine based in Italy that allows travelers to compare and book different types of vacation housing such as private rental homes, hostels and hotels. I worked with them as a marketing and brand creative to create a user-friendly interface with soft imagery and homey copy that invited users to list their own spaces and to travel confidently.
Bluepillow Travel
Bluepillow focuses on locally-owned bed and breakfasts, small hotels, and vacation homes for rent. Their search engine optimizes for searching over a variety of different types of properties so that travelers can compare types of accommodation on one page. Our web design started with soft, warm colors and friendly fonts to convey a sense of neighborliness and community.
I wrote a blog that explored each location that Bluepillow offered accommodation in, that helped improve the platform's SEO and helped travelers plan their trip; from the best neighborhoods to stay in to local recommendations and optimized times of year to travel. The writing voice focused on sounding helpful, savvy, and enthusiastic to help travelers build up anticipation for their upcoming travels.
